i agree with u i think medion is a very good computer. I seen one at the martket and looked at the specs they were really good for a budget computer i was surprised

I had a dell inspiron 1520 for 6 months before it died. Once i gave up with crappy dell support and asked for a refund, i bought a new 15.4 inch medion laptop and was pleasantly surprised by its reliability, durability, value and style over the dell. Dont listen to people like “generalhoohah” who knows more about making benal chitchat than he does the subject matter. Crappy video review nonetheless, though ive had my medion for nearly a year now, never had a problem and doubt i ever will.

The way Medion makes sales, is by luring in customers with products that look all shiny and cool. In fact Best Buy totally stopped carrying their products a while ago because of all the complaints and defective products, with GOOD reason!

Medion is a company who makes money off of ignorant people who don’t know anything about computers, by cutting corners and using cheap and minimalistic build quality… which is illustrated quite nicely by this reviewer who doesn’t know shit about computers. All she’s doing is pointing out “duh” qualities of the computer, that any 5th grader and notice.

Go and look at some reviews by people who actually know how to review a computer.
This reviewer doesn’t know anything about computers, she doesn’t give us any real information and technical specs about the unit.
Battery life? Cooling? Start up time? Sound quality? Solid keyboard construction? Who makes the hard drive? What are the video card specs? How loud is it if you’re in a classroom? Common problems? She doesn’t tell you because she doesn’t know, and this information is important!

My family made the terrible mistake of buying a medion PC. WORST MISTAKE OF OUR LIVES!
It was built with a horrid motherboard with memory leaks, an overheating bottlenecked video card, a Pentium 4 3.2gz processor, crappy slow RAM, and the WORST cooling I’ve EVER seen on a PC in my entire life! You can bake a turkey in this PC!
DO NOT BUY MEDION EVER!! The store got so many complaints, they totally stopped carrying ALL Medion Products! TOTAL RIP OFF!!!

Dont do it! spend your money elsewhere, I had a medion and it was the biggest piece of crap, the only good thing is the support. I got myself a MacBook, and have never looked back. The Medion, well it met with an unfortunate accident involving a hammer,

Also make sure to look into the specs of this laptop many things were not mentioned in this video review. Not least the Nvidia Geforce 512MB GS graphics which is one of the unique selling points. Kind of silly not to mention this really.

PC World is very poor. They make their money from sub standard equipment breaking and needing repairs. Extremely poor after sales service. If you have problems with your medion you should have no problems returning it for a full refund.

Still, £500.00 still hones in at about $1,000.00 USD… You could easily get an HP or Acer laptop complete with 17″ screen and more features than this for about the same price. This is more of a mid-range notebook computer than anything else, not extremely budget conscious……

…oh yeah! The graphics card is Directx 10 and because it has a HDMI out, you’ll be able to hook it up to your HD TV!
